Most Accessible TVs?

Category: accessible Devices

Just curious as to whether any tVs out there are significantly more accessible than others. I realize that no mainstream TV is going to have accessible menus out of the box; But, I'm talking about things like ergonomics of the remote, an accessible way to enable the sAP channel, the ability to toggle through HDmI inputs, etc.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,

Al

I have an Emerson with a SAP button, and you can toggle the HDMI with a button till the one you want comes up. It has a DVD player built in as well, but don't ask me the model number.

It would be stellar if someone actually had a suggestion or five. I'm sort of looking for something I could get set up without sighted help, and so far the best candidate seems to be a PC with Windows Media Center and either a networked or internal CableCard tuner. The only issue there is, well, no way to hook up an Apple TV for services where that's more accessible than WMC.

I have a vesio and it is a good one.
only bad thing about the flat screens is that you can't know when when it is on.
That is true that the apple tv is accessible but it is not a tv.
